Developed code and implemented content initiatives for the web hub serving Beaufort and Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. In this position, I create from-scratch code in HTML, CSS, jQuery, Mason and PHP within a CMS environment. In addition, I advise on presentational aspects of news content and strategic planning of islandpacket.com.

KUCB-FM/TV, Unalaska, AK

In rural Alaska, I led a team of broadcasters and volunteers in growing KIAL-AM, now KUCB-FM. I worked with the board of directors and engineering consultants to transition the station from AM to FM broadcasting and increase the coverage area. I increased both operating revenue and project funding by securing new federal and state grants, installed automation systems and launched kial.org (now kucb.org).
